Bindi and Robert Irwin Honor Their Late Dad Steve Irwin on His Birthday: ‘The Greatest Wildlife Warrior'

The pair posted touching birthday tributes to their late father on Saturday, Feb. 22

Bindi and Robert Irwin are remembering their late father Steve Irwin on his birthday. 

On Saturday, Feb. 22, Bindi, 26, and Robert, 21, posted birthday tributes on Instagram to the conservationist on what would have been his 63rd birthday.

Bindi shared a sweet photo of her kissing Steve on the cheek as a child alongside the message, “Happy Birthday, Dad. To the world, you will forever be remembered as the greatest Wildlife Warrior. To me, you’ll always be the most incredible dad and now our family’s guiding light. I love you and I miss you every day."

On her Instagram Stories, Bindi posted a second photo of her as a child wearing armbands while sitting on her dad’s lap by the sea. “Happy Birthday, Dad,” she wrote over the image.

Robert, meanwhile, wrote in tribute on his own Instagram, “Always my greatest inspiration.” Alongside his message, he posted a throwback photo of Steve holding a crocodile barefoot in a forest. 

Terri Irwin wrote underneath her son's post in the comment section, “So much love❤️.”

The American-Australian conservationist, 60, also posted a tribute to her late husband on Instagram. “Happy birthday❤️
