Anya Taylor-Joy is open to acting alongside her husband Malcolm McRae in a film — on one condition.

While attending the premiere of The Gorge in Los Angeles on Feb. 12, the actress, 28, revealed what it would take for her and McRae, 30, to appear onscreen together.

"I mean, I would love to. It would just have to be the right script," Taylor-Joy told PEOPLE exclusively.

The star first confirmed she was in a relationship in April 2021. A year later, she secretly wed McRae in New Orleans, and the couple later tied the knot again in Venice, Italy, in October 2023.

"I've finally found someone who will happily sit in silence with me reading," Taylor-Joy told British Vogue of her musician and actor beau in April 2022. "We're basically 80 years old and 7 at the same time, and it works really well."
