Amy Schumer is sharing a seasonal mom hack!

On Saturday, Jan. 18, the comedian posted a snap on her Instagram Stories documenting a snowman-making experience with her 5-year-old son Gene, in which the pair apparently decided it was best to take a simpler route in sculpting their new frozen friend.

In the snap, the 43-year-old Trainwreck star can be seen smiling at her son as the duo struck a pose — right next to what looks to be an impressive in-ground snowman.

Their creation had all the traits of any snowman — a carrot nose, a red hat, a pair of sunglasses and even a robe — but instead of being a proper sculpture, Schumer and her son had him take shape, well, within the snow itself.

"Great moms find short cuts," Schumer captioned the image, in which she can be seen holding up a peace sign while dressed in winter gear.

Schumer, who shares her son with husband Chris Fischer, has previously shared glimpses of her life as a mom on Instagram. Back in October, she posted a Reel detailing her attempts to order Gene a cute Halloween costume, instead winding up with an adult-sized head of a bird mascot.

“Hi, hope you’re having a great weekend. I just wanted to let anyone who is interested know that I tried to order a Halloween costume for my son to be a bird and by accident I got this,” Schumer said in the clip, as she popped the giant bird costume on her head.

“So if anybody needs me to homeschool their kid, I just wanted you to know that I’m a totally fit parent," she joked.

Schumer's latest project, Kinda Pregnant — which she co-wrote, produced and stars in — arrives on Netflix next month. Ahead of the film's debut, PEOPLE exclusively unveiled the first trailer as the comedian called the project "laugh-out-loud funny and relatable."

In the movie, Schumer plays a Brooklyn English teacher named Lainy who gets jealous of her best friend Kate’s (Jillian Bell) pregnancy, eventually opting to wear a fake baby bump. She then meets the man of her dreams (played by Will Forte) and has to keep the lie going.

"Our society loves to make women feel like they are failing. This story shows women as human beings who are trying to make choices that are right for them and having fun together along the way," Schumer told PEOPLE.

As for her costar Forte, Schumer called him the "funniest person alive" and noted that viewers "will see what a great romantic lead he is too."

As for the prop baby bump she wears in the film, Schumer joked with PEOPLE that "it wasn't that different than the belly I usually walk around with. Someone send me some Ozempic please!"
