Alejandra Silva Celebrates ‘1st Day of Christmas’ With Richard Gere, Kids

Richard Gere has long gushed about raising sons with wife Alejandra Silva and ex-wife Carey Lowell.

Gere and Lowell, who share son Homer, wed in 2002 but separated nearly 11 years later. Gere — who was previously married to Cindy Crawford between 1991 and 1995— later moved on with Silva. Us Weekly confirmed in 2018 that the duo had secretly wed in an intimate civil ceremony that April after three years of dating. (Lowell, for her part, also shares daughter Hannah Dunne with ex-husband Griffin Dunne.)

Silva also coparents son Albert, born in December 2012, with ex-husband Govind Friedland. She and Gere announced in August 2018 that they were expecting their first child together. Son Alexander was born in February 2019. Nearly one year later, Silva gave birth to another baby boy, Jamie.

Gere, Silva and their blended family live a relatively private life at their Pound Ridge, New York, compound. Silva, for her part, has shared glimpses of her brood via Instagram.
