What To Do With The Sacrificial Heart In Path Of Exile 2

You might randomly encounter a Sacrificial Heart as you explore during Act 3 in Path of Exile 2, but the game doesn’t tell you what to do with it.

Well, its title does tell you it’s for some sacrificial ritual of some sort. But where do you even need to take the thing? And what even happens if you complete the ritual?

What To Do With The Sacrificial Heart | Path Of Exile 2

If you don’t have the Sacrificial Heart yet, you can get it as a random drop during Act 3 in Path of Exile 2. It can be dropped by any enemy in Utzaal and Aggorat. Again, though, it’s completely random.

Once you have the Sacrificial Heart, you can use it at the Sacrificial Altar in Aggorat. Just like every other thing in this game, the Sacrificial Altar’s exact location is completely randomized within Aggorat. The location also changes each time you enter a new instance. Nonetheless, it should look like the spot shown in the screenshot above.

Keep in mind that this Sacrificial Altar also has a Checkpoint nearby. It makes it easier to spot.

When you finally get to the altar, pick up the Sacrificial Dagger nearby. Then interact with the altar itself to place the Sacrificial Heart.

Lastly, interact with the Sacrificial Heart again to stab it and complete the sacrifice ritual. You’ll automatically earn 2 Weapon Set Passive Skill Points and 2 Passive Skill Points. It was a pretty big heart, so it’s fitting that you get some fairly big rewards!
