Electric Fan Controller
FLEX-A-LITE ● 800-851-1510 ● FLEX-A-LITE.COM ● $41.99 (P/N 121280); $48.99 (P/N 121281)
Maximize your car’s cooling with these new electric fan controllers. Compact and easy to install, these controllers bring a lot more versatility than the typical on/off functions typically controlled by just a temperature probe and relay. The units enable you to adjust the fan-activation temperature and they will automatically engage when the A/C is turned on. An optional override switch can be added plus all the wire in these kits is said to be made of high quality with strong temperature resistance. As a bonus, using an electric fan instead of a belt-driven fan can free up some extra horsepower and improve fuel mileage. Flex-a-Lite’s p/n 121280 features a push-in temperature probe for installation in the radiator fins while p/n 121281 features a thread-in temperature probe and multiple thread-size adapters. You can combine these with the new “Flex-Wave LoBoy” puller fan (p/n 105390; $169.99), which features a thin design at only 2-5/8 inches at the motor and is capable of 3,000 cfm of airflow. Inquire for more details.

The dual A-arm design is modeled around a Currie F9 rearend with 35-spline third member, Truetrac limited-slip differential, and stout axles rated to handle more than 1,000 horsepower. The chassis can be optioned with standard inboard-mounted vertical RideTech coilovers (single- or triple-adjustable) or with a cantilever setup. Keep in mind that cantilever setups will require added fabrication to the vehicle’s trunk area. Disc-brake kit options include Baer four-piston SS4+, six-piston Pro-Plus, or Extreme-Plus caliper mounting, and finish options include bare steel or your choice of powdercoat colors. Call for your application.
