Hemmings is excited to announce that Musclepalooza will be returning for 2025 in Orlando, Florida! Join us on March 15th, 2025 at Orlando Speedworld Dragway for a day of family fun and fast machines that have brought thousands of enthusiasts, drag racers, and builders together since 2004. Whether you want to crack the throttles and take on the quarter-mile or spend a relaxing day surrounded by the sights and sounds of performance machines, this is one event you won’t want to miss.

Drag Racing At Musclepalooza

Whether you are wanting to take a crack at earning a part of the $15,000 in payouts for the racing classes or are simply wanting to have fun, drag racing will be a central part of Musclepalooza. Our drag racing program welcomes beginners and experienced racers alike. The environment has a welcoming feel and the racing isn’t designed to be taken too seriously. By taking a “just have fun” approach, this is one motorsports event that isn’t intent on pushing hard and winning big. Instead, it’s about a celebration of horsepower and drag racing culture with a focus on growing the community for generations to come.

Musclepalooza uses a bracket racing format, which avoids the strict class rules. There are plenty of classes available for all speeds, ranging from 14-seconds and slower to 9.99 and faster. As long as you meet NHRA’s safety criteria for the speed you want to run, you’re set. We also have three grouping categories: Pre-1979, Post-1979, and Muscle Truck, as well as the Florida Muscle Car Drags‘ Stock Appearing and Day 2 classes. We will also have a test and tune available early in the morning so you can shake your ride down before starting competition.

What better way to enjoy a sunny day in Florida than by checking out row upon row of colorful muscle machines? Orlando Speedworld Dragway will be the setting that will allow owners to show off their rides in the following classes:

• Hemmings’ President’s Pick
• Kids’ Choice Award

In addition to the car show awards themselves, there will be three competitions that will also pay to the winner:

• Burnout Competition
• Rev Battle
• Audio Battle
