Volkswagen Australia has confirmed pricing for the T7 Multivan, which is due to arrive in Australia in the second quarter of 2025.
Offered in a single model grade in two sizes at launch, the new-generation Multivan will start from $75,990 before on-road costs for the short-wheelbase (SWB) TDI360 Life. That represents a $3700 price increase over the outgoing T6.1 Multivan.
A long-wheelbase (LWB) variant will also be offered, priced from $78,990 plus on-road costs.
Further trim grades and engine options are expected to arrive later next year, filling out the T7 Multivan lineup.

The new T7 model is based on the VW Group’s MQB Evo modular passenger car platform, a move that’s claimed to bring marked improvements to refinement, ride and handling.
Both versions feature a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine producing 110kW of power and 360Nm of torque, sent to the front wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
Inside, the rear seats come standard in a 2+2+3 configuration, but owners will be able to slide, remove and rotate the rear seats into a maximum of seven different configurations.
Similarly priced Multivan rivals include the Kia Carnival and Hyundai Staria, both of which top out at under $80,000 before on-road costs.
The new Multivan was originally slated for a late-2024 launch in Australia, although that timing was subsequently pushed back.
